This report represents the major themes that emerged from a conference of 50 leaders from public and private health care organizations convened by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to discuss the opportunities for creating and adopting within 5 years a core set of broadly acceptable standards and rules forhealth care data collection, aggregation, and reporting of performance data.
