This paper reviews the quality improvement initiatives of three states (Wisconsin, Washington, and South Carolina) to ensure faster consumer access to services and supports, to guarantee that consumers receive prompt and competent assistance from care managers and providers, and to assess how well consumers are being served through feedback from the consumers.
