Special Eurobarometer on Medical Errors


The European Commission carry out the first analysis based on citizens’ perception of medical errors and use the results as a starting point for a more profound approach over the coming years.

This survey deals with the following themes:
• General perception of medical errors
• Experiences of medical errors: familiarity with the topic and concrete experiences
• Practical implications: trust in health care professionals and hospital treatment

EUROCHIP 2 - European Cancer Health Indicator Project (Phase 2) 2nd interim report

EUROCHIP-2 focuses on fighting inequalities in cancer. Its aim is to improve information and knowledge on cancer. It will add value to each country’s and all Europe’s action through data comparison.

The international group of experts engaged by EUROCHIP-2 is liaising with networks, international agencies, institutions, ministries of health and medical association to thus promote actions, with the aim to improve data collection, data analysis, and results dissemination.
